Bright Vision Technologies is hiring an AI Operations Engineer for a full-time, fully remote position in the United States. This opportunity is aimed at experienced data and AI professionals who have a strong background in building and operating large-scale data systems.
The position requires 6+ years of experience and focuses on the data infrastructure behind modern AI training and evaluation pipelines. The role is especially suited to engineers who enjoy working with complex data systems, distributed infrastructure and high-throughput AI workloads.
Job Overview:
The AI Operations Engineer will help build and operate large-scale data pipelines used for AI and machine learning. Responsibilities include data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, dataset versioning, lineage, reproducibility and delivering data efficiently to training workloads.
The position is 100% remote within the U.S., full-time and direct W2. The listed salary range is $150,000–$165,000 per year. U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders and candidates transferring an existing H-1B are encouraged to apply; the company cannot sponsor new H-1B petitions for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work with large-scale data pipelines and storage systems supporting AI training and evaluation. You will work with technologies such as Python, Spark, Ray or Beam, while applying strong software engineering practices including testing, CI/CD and code review.
You will also be involved with distributed systems, data modeling, storage formats, dataset lineage and high-throughput data loading. The role requires collaboration with ML researchers and engineers to ensure that data infrastructure supports model quality and training efficiency.
Requirements:
Applicants should have at least six years of data engineering experience, including significant experience supporting AI or machine learning workloads. Strong Python skills and experience with a JVM or systems language are required.
Experience with petabyte-scale storage, distributed systems, multimodal datasets, data quality tools, privacy-focused data systems or frontier model training will be an advantage.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are also important for this position.
