Data Analyst, Associate – Private Equity Technology

About the Job:
Blackstone is seeking a Data Analyst within its Real Estate and Private Equity Technology team. The role focuses on developing analytical tools and data solutions that support alternative asset management operations.
The analyst will solve business challenges by connecting strategy with technology execution, managing initiatives from inception to delivery, and helping advance Blackstone’s data platform through modern technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead technology and data requirements for deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, and related workflows.
• Identify opportunities for improved tooling, automation, and data flows.
• Conduct business analysis and stakeholder sessions across the firm.
• Develop and maintain analytical software solutions using Python and SQL.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data used in AI and analytics workflows.
• Support data governance, quality, security, and integration requirements.
• Promote data analytics, data science, and AI across the firm.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams on deployment workflows.
• Work with Git, CI/CD, and cloud deployment technologies.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience working within a technology team, preferably in financial services, alternative asset management, or real estate.
• Advanced analytical and data modeling skills.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration.
• Experience with BI tools such as Sigma and Tableau.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and project scope.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with software development lifecycle tools.
• Version control and CI/CD tools.
• Cloud deployment technologies.
Compensation & Benefits:
Expected annual base salary: $135,000–$170,000
Additional compensation may include comprehensive health benefits, 401(k), discretionary bonuses, and potential equity/incentive compensation.
