About the Job
The Data Analyst II will deliver business solutions through Power BI, transforming data into clear visualizations and dashboards. The role supports Ryder’s supply chain analytics initiatives, using data to drive business decisions, identify solutions, and improve operational performance.
The analyst will work with Ryder’s Azure Data Lake and collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Power BI dashboards based on business needs and integrated data.
• Analyze data and translate findings into useful business insights.
• Handle ad-hoc business requests and identify innovative solutions.
• Support supply chain analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Improve data maturity, integration, and functionality.
• Work with technology teams through product development, testing, and release.
• Use data to identify root causes and solve business problems.
Required Skills:
• Power BI and Tableau experience.
• SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx or SSIS.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
• Experience supporting agile product development.
• .NET/object-oriented development experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of applied project experience.
• 2–4 years of experience creating dashboards for diagnostic business analysis.
• Cloud experience is preferred.
