About the Job
As an IT Cybersecurity Engineer, you will provide strategic oversight and drive critical programs aligned with CommonSpirit Health’s virtual health initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business and clinical stakeholders while helping optimize people, processes, and products within the cybersecurity framework.
You will also develop business intelligence and data visualization reporting to support informed decision-making and strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
The role focuses on aligning cybersecurity strategies with virtual health objectives, engaging stakeholders, improving security across platforms, driving programmatic improvements, and using data for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Designs, develops, configures, and implements solutions to resolve basic to intermediate technical and business issues related to information security.
Reviews and consults on the security of technology solutions.
Assists in the design, development, and implementation of new solutions within the existing architecture.
Provides support and works across multiple functions of basic to intermediate complexity.
Designs and implements security solutions and architectures to protect systems and applications.
Operates and optimizes security tools and platforms, including vulnerability scanning and configuration assessment.
Handles configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of security tools and platforms.
Job Requirements
Required
2–3 years of experience in a related field.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
3–4 years of experience upon hire.
