ABOUT THE JOB
Own AI image generation for a $1Billion+ brand. Produce hero, lifestyle and advertising imagery that consistently meets brand standards at production volume.
Total Annual Package: Up to USD $88,000 + comprehensive benefits, including a monthly performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary.

AI-first: Puffy has been AI-first since December 2023, using GPT Image and Nano Banana Pro as part of its creative production workflow.
The role is remote, with the option to work from the Dubai office, including relocation and visa sponsorship support.
Role Overview
Puffy is a market-leading, nine-figure D2C brand and Top 5 US mattress brand with over $1 billion in sales. The company is hiring an AI Image Specialist to own AI image generation for Puffy.com.
The role covers photorealistic hero, lifestyle and advertising imagery across e-commerce and marketing. The specialist will own prompting approaches, reference workflows and production standards while applying UI/UX design principles to image layouts.
The goal is to make AI image generation reliable enough for production, creating repeatable workflows and quality standards that consistently deliver brand-standard imagery at scale.
The Problems You'll Own
• Primary: Consistency at brand standard
Produce hero, lifestyle and advertising imagery that meets brand standards consistently, including accurately placing real Puffy products inside generated environments. Images are judged by whether they achieve the objective of the brief, not simply by how attractive they look.
• Secondary: Raise what the whole team can produce
Develop best practices, prompting techniques, reusable reference workflows and quality standards that allow other designers to achieve a comparable standard.
The Career Accelerator
This is not simply a role where you run prompts created by someone else. The position involves owning the prompting approaches, reference workflows and production standards across the design team.
Your First 12 Months
Build AI-assisted workflows behind Puffy product, hero and lifestyle imagery, with photorealism and product accuracy as the standard.
You will develop reusable prompting approaches, reference-image workflows and production standards, create and test AI advertising creative with the Growth team, and take AI outputs through compositing and retouching to final creative.

What You'll Need
An exceptional portfolio demonstrating commercial AI-generated imagery, particularly photorealistic product and lifestyle work, alongside UI/UX design examples showing effective page layouts and user experiences.
AI Generation and Editing
Advanced hands-on proficiency with ChatGPT Images / GPT Image models for image generation, editing, iteration and creative development.
Advanced hands-on proficiency with Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) for professional image generation and editing.
Strong proficiency across generative-image tools such as Midjourney, FLUX/Stable Diffusion/ComfyUI and Adobe Firefly or equivalent platforms.
Advanced prompt engineering and visual prompting using reference images and multimodal inputs.
Experience with image-to-image, inpainting, outpainting, compositional control and iterative editing workflows.
Craft and Production
Ability to place existing physical products into generated environments while maintaining product fidelity.
Ability to create repeatable workflows rather than relying on repeated regeneration.
Advanced Photoshop, compositing and retouching skills for production-ready creative.
Strong understanding of composition, lighting, perspective, colour, visual hierarchy and art direction.
UI/UX Design
Hands-on UI/UX design experience and understanding of how imagery performs inside live interfaces.
Knowledge of image layout, cropping, focal points, breakpoints, typography and calls-to-action.
Understanding of how creative assets perform at thumbnail and advertising-placement sizes.
Ability to work within established design systems and brand guidelines.
Ability to deliver finished assets in formats used by designers and developers.
Commercial Output
Create hero, lifestyle, e-commerce and paid advertising creative based on clear marketing objectives.
Read creative briefs from a commercial perspective and make decisions that support the intended objective.
Good-to-Have
DTC/e-commerce experience, particularly product and performance-marketing imagery for consumer brands.
Photography, CGI or 3D experience.
Strong understanding of lighting, composition, materials and photorealistic product visualization.
Experience building and sharing reusable AI creative workflows, including prompts and reference systems.
